Possible Failure to Follow Charter in Hiring Process
By failing to appoint a city employee directly, and by failing to require Council approval for the hiring of said employee, Chad Shepherd, on October 1, 2024, Mayor Borgmeyer is in violation of the St. Charles City Charter, sections 4.3e (Exhibit I) and 5.3 (Exhibit J), from the date of October 1, 2024 (Exhibit K) to the date of this document’s signing.
